KENMERKEN
Bruin aluminiumoxyde gesmolten en gekristalliseerd onder hoge temperatuur van een mengsel van bauxiet en andere grondstoffen. Het wordt gekenmerkt door een hoge hardheid, goede taaiheid en vorm in grootte. Schuurmiddelen werktuigen daarvan zijn geschikt voor het slijpen van metalen van hoge treksterkte zoals: koolstofstaal, algemene doeleinden gelegeerd staal, gietijzer en gegloeid harde broze, etc.It ook kan worden gebruikt als vuurvaste materialen.
